Del Commentary:
Oh, flashbacks. And flashbacks with Darla & Angelus. Pardon me while I die quietly in the corner. The plot with Kate's father was unexpected but kinda cool (shame she didn't get to find out about it), and Angel being helpless on the other side of the door was pretty powerful. I don't think he's hated himself that much in a long time. But, what do I care, I'm still guh-ing at the flashbacks. That's where all my coherent commentary goes. Though, I will pause for this one useful comment: Angelus and Darla are breathing. Yes, it's cold, and the chilly gusts of breath, kinda a cool effect except for that one small detail... they're vamps. I mean, I know there's the arguement that the breathe when they're excited and fledges forget that they don't have to breath, but c'mon, it's supposed to be the first scene of vampy Angelus and they're breathing? Not cool.
