Well, about the time I decided to get rid of version 5.0, I decided to showcase that it had existed! As I go hunting to see how the first images looked like, I'll put up the different versions!
Version: 12
Version Name: closer
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: Oh, version 12. I decided to go for a whole new look, and a kinky shorter main image, which I thought worked pretty well. Over all, this version was cleaner than the last, but essentially the same. The whole point was that, now, only colors and/or images needed to be changed. The rest could remain the same. Much, much easier for version updating. A sexy, modern spin for all the couples. The title is actually off of the Nine Inch Nails song of the same title. Oddly appropriate, I thought.
Version: 11
Version Name: ... here in your eyes ...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: It took five years for this layout to evolve. From the plain-text and no-montage Version 1 to the separations of Versions 9 and 10, it was all leading to this. Since BFW was so huge, I was unwilling to go through and overhaul the site just to get rid of the iframes, which I'd had to overhaul the site for back in Version 7. Instead, I took my newly enjoying DIV layers and spliced them in around the iframe to centralize navigation and clear up any issues - navigational wise - that had been occuring with the imagemapping. I liked the rounded enter image and the "clean" feel of the section layouts. The text in the individual section iframes, was the same as in Version 10, however I had already recoded it for Version 12 before I remembered to take shots of this version, so please ignore that inconsistancy.
Version: 10
Version Name: still with you
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: Well, as usual, I loved the first one I did - the A/X section head. Somehow, the others just fell too far short. Plus, I could never get the text to a color/font/effect that properly fit. The enter image, I felt, was the saving grace, as I really liked the spunky, mixed, blurry feel of it. Basically, the second I got this layout up, I started working on version 11, and it stayed up only as a filler and because I loved the enter image. This layout brought home to me that BFW really needed to redo its layout/navigation/style.
Version: 9.0
Version Name: burnt light
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: This time, instead of trying to meld a layout with all five sections of BFW, I tried to give each section its own feel. I'd been toying with the idea of breaking BFW up into smaller, section speicifc sites, but decided to keep it whole and only separate the sections within. Like true subsites. I really liked this version... except for the enter image, which never came out as quite what I wanted. And, as always, all good versions must come to an end. Enter page first, followed by each "skin."
Version: 8.0
Version Name: ...the.one...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: I tried to redo my colors a little, without actually changing them, since I like the orange on black. So for this version I added green. I loved the quote that was on the right side, and the pictures on the left came out okay. It took a lot of time, and I was fairly happy, but something just seemed off to me. Perhaps it was too chaotic. Anyway, it had a good run and I liked the experiment of it. Enter view (first) then Main view (upon entering).
Version: 7.0
Version Name: ...a.pretty.fire...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: My first version using a centralized theme and iframes! I recoded the entire site for this version, it was my baby. I got a lot of interesting comments on the "sexiness" of it. Personally, I just felt that a "pretty fire" had to have something pretty (or sexy, I guess) and hot (hince the entirely orange theme) and this version was what came out. I really liked it! Enter view (first) then Main view (upon entering).
Version: 6.0
Version Name: ...you see i cannot be forsaken...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: This version took awhile but I really liked it, it was the first version that came even close to centralizing all the sections. Plus I was just fond of the gray with red on black, it looked so pretty. I was sad to have to kill this version, but it was time to say goodbye.
Version: 5.0
Version Name: ...Dark Desires...Shattered Dreams...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: This version really took a bit of time, and I was pretty happy with how it turned out, if at first skeptical of the white in the colors. Also first four-fandom version. Desires view (first) then Shattered view (on mouse-over).
Version: 4.0
Version Name: ...Dark Desires...Shattered Dreams...
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: This was basically version 5.0, except it's worse. I couldn't find a way to shatter it like I wanted, so this version is just the two of 5.0 put together minus the funky shattered effect. This one lasted maybe a month, not even, until I figured out how to fix it.
Version: 3.5
Version Name: {Girls & Roses}
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: This version took a bit of time, was a play off of version 3.0 but better, and I was really happy with how it turned out. Of course, I forgot all the good stuff you put on a page. Had to be changed when the site evolved into a four-fandom site!
Version: 3.0
Version Name: {Dangerous & Deadly}
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: The first image of when I had more then one fandom. I lost the page and how it looked, but basically it was like 3.5 except the "enter" part was its own button below this main image. This one lasted awhile before I decided I wanted to add the roses in. To match it, the three guys were the "home" button, and the girls were the "back" button and main images. It was pretty cute I thought.
Version: 2.0
Version Name: {Even War Needs A Little Love}
Version Designer: ~Electra~
Version Info: This version was on my Ares/Xena intro page after the site expanded for a long time. Before the site expanded into more then one fandom, Electra made this gorgeous intro page for me! It was great! Everything I ever wanted (hince why it lasted so long.) BFW view (first) then A Little Love view (on mouse-over).

Version: 1.0
Version Name: {Chakram Coming Home}
Version Designer: EvilLiz
Version Info: This version was really cool, EvilLiz made it on a program and I loved it, it was white with a black chakram next to all the buttons, and a chakram circling a picture of Ares and Xena kissing from "Coming Home" it was very beautiful if a bit white. Sadly, however, I had no idea how to deal with the coding that version required, so not only did the main page not match the rest of the site, but I couldn't edit or add, which was all my site was doing at the time. I wish I had a picture of this one.

Version: 0
Version Name: {Born For War}
Version Designer: ~Del~
Version Info: SAD! There was a main image on the page, then below that was links in white text, and there were like only 6. Yes, I'll admit to the sorriness of it. There wasn't even a index page, it was the main page, that was it! Yeah, thank the gods for evolution past that!
